barriers to education, employment, and self-reliance:
Tu Organics Foundation is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization dedicated to creating
economic opportunity, self-sufficiency, and career pathways for women and underserved communities through cosmetology education and entrepreneurship training.
Founded by Mariatu Tu Browne, our mission is rooted in the belief that vocational
education is a powerful tool for healing, financial independence, and generational change.Through our programs, we empower participants to transform their lives and communities,one license, one client, and one business at a time.

Mariatu Tu Browne founded Tu Organics Foundation from a place of deep personal
experience, compassion, and commitment to transformation. As a survivor, entrepreneur,
and educator, she understands what it means to rebuild; not just a life, but a sense of selfworth, financial independence, and purpose.
Her journey from pain to purpose inspired her to create a platform that offers others the
same opportunity: to heal, to grow, and to thrive.
